Greenville police arrest suspect linked to theft of construction materials

The Greenville Police Department announced that Henry Gibson was arrested in connection with the theft of thousands of dollars’ worth of construction materials from a property at 1501 E. Reed Road.

Gibson was previously wanted on charges related to an incident that occurred on August 23, 2026, according to police. He is currently being held at the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility, where he awaits his initial court appearance.

The police department thanked the public for sharing the original wanted poster and providing information that led to the arrest. Authorities also identified Roosevelt Holloway as still wanted in connection with the investigation. They urged anyone with information about Holloway’s whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers at 662-378-TIPS (8477).

Law enforcement emphasized that all persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
