Mississippi Wildlife Department teams up with American Cancer Society at annual clay shoot

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks (MDWFP) participated in the American Cancer Society’s annual clay shoot, serving as a Pink Vest Sponsor in support of cancer awareness and research.

MDWFP’s team enjoyed the event on the range, finishing in third place overall, according to a social media post from the department. Gary Holcomb, a staff member from MDWFP, was named the overall shooter at the event.

The department emphasized the importance of supporting cancer research and community health initiatives through its participation in the event. The clay shoot aims to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society.
