One opening is for an Exhibits Specialist at the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science. The role requires a creative individual with a focus on graphic design to lead the development, installation, and maintenance of exhibits. The position aims to enhance the museum experience through innovative design, educational storytelling, and the use of emerging technologies, the department said.

Another position is for a Specialized Trades Worker II, part of the Fisheries Bureau’s Boating Access Program. This statewide role involves building boat ramps and fishing piers across Mississippi, with responsibilities including construction and heavy equipment operation.
