Mississippi Announces Winners of Fish Art and Essay Contest

Mississippi winners of the Art of Conservation’s Fish Art and Essay Competition have been announced, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks.

First-place winners will advance to national judging, and the full list of winners is available on the Art of Conservation’s website.

The organization also reminded participants that the 2026 Bob Tyler Fish Hatchery Youth Art Contest deadline is May 10, 2026. Unlike previous years, no essay is required for this contest, and any native Mississippi species is eligible for submission.
