Leland Chamber of Commerce’s Christmas on Deer Creek Nominated for Best Holiday Event

The Leland Chamber of Commerce’s Christmas on Deer Creek has been nominated for the 2026 Best of Mississippi Travel Readers’ Poll in the Best Holiday Event category, according to a news release.

Organizers encourage the community and supporters to vote daily from May 15 to June 15 at https://mismag.com/best-of-mississippi-travel/#/. Voting is allowed once per day.

The event features festive storefronts, carriage rides, shopping, music, and the holiday magic of Downtown Leland, making it a cherished tradition for the community, the chamber said.

Chamber officials asked residents and visitors to help showcase Mississippi’s Delta region by participating in the poll and sharing the voting link. The event aims to highlight the region’s holiday spirit and draw visitors to the area during the season.

Supporters are encouraged to spread the word by sharing the voting link and encouraging friends and family to vote daily, the chamber added.
