Ice has been reported on roads and bridges in 14 Mississippi counties, according to authorities. The reports pertain to state-maintained roadways, including interstates and major highways, but do not affect local roads, officials said.

The affected counties are Alcorn, Benton, Bolivar, Coahoma, DeSoto, Lafayette, Leflore, Marshall, Panola, Quitman, Tallahatchie, Tate, Tippah, and Tunica. State officials are urging drivers to only travel if necessary and to exercise extreme caution on icy roads.
