Hinds County Sheriff’s Office to Display 9/11 Commemorative Flag in Honor of Anniversary

The Hinds County Sheriff’s Office will display a commemorative flag in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, according to the agency.

The flag was presented by the Mississippi State Society Daughters of the American Revolution. It will be flown in front of the Hinds County Circuit Court Building alongside the U.S. flag and the Mississippi state flag.

The display will continue throughout September to honor victims, first responders, and all those affected by the events of Sept. 11, 2001, officials said. The observance aims to remember the sacrifices made and promote community resilience.
