Batesville Hosts Trick-or-Trunk Halloween Event on Saturday

Batesville Main Street will hold its Trick-or-Trunk event on Saturday, October 31, from 10 a.m. to noon on the downtown Batesville square. The event is free and open to the public, featuring trick-or-treating from decorated vehicle trunks and a costume contest for children and families.

Participants can register for the costume contest between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Categories include age groups from 0 to 12 and family or group costumes. Winners will be announced at 11:30 a.m., according to event organizers.

Local businesses, churches, civic groups, and community organizations are encouraged to participate as trunk vendors. They can decorate their trunks or tents, bring treats, and create a fun, safe Halloween experience for children. There is no cost to register as a vendor.
