Tunica County Sheriff’s Office Celebrates Black History Month with Community Event

Black History Month is a time to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and leadership of those who broke barriers and created opportunities, according to the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office.

The department attended the Dundee Rec Center’s Black History Program, where its Color Guard presented the colors, the sheriff’s office said.

Officials highlighted the importance of community events that celebrate history and recognize individuals whose contributions inspire progress and unity. The sheriff’s office added that it remains committed to serving all community members with respect, pride, and dedication.
