Three men arrested in Yazoo City on drug and resisting arrest charges

Three men were arrested in Yazoo City on charges including possession of meth, resisting arrest, and failure to comply, according to the Yazoo County Sheriff’s Office.

Curtis Matlock, 48; Carson Matlock, 21; and Cedric Jones, 39, were taken into custody during the operation. The arrests are part of ongoing efforts to combat drug activity in the community.

The sheriff’s office credited partnerships with community organizations for helping make the arrests possible. They emphasized that each apprehension brings the community closer to a cleaner, safer Yazoo City.
