Three arrested on drug charges after Greenville search warrants

Three people were arrested on drug charges after Greenville police executed search warrants at two apartments Monday as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation, the department said.

Officers searched apartments 208 and 210 at 1361A East Reed Road at about 8:23 a.m. Police said they found suspected methamphetamine and DMT, along with digital scales, syringes, smoking devices and other items believed to be connected to preparing or distributing drugs.

Katherine Pickens was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, a church enhancement and possession of drug paraphernalia. Melody Raymond was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Daniel Keith Hoover was charged with felony possession of precursors, methamphetamine with intent to distribute and DMT with intent to distribute, along with church enhancements. Police said Hoover was not at the apartments when officers served the warrants but was later found and arrested.

All three were taken to the Washington County Adult Regional Jail, police said. The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be considered.
