Suspect in Cleveland drive-in shooting granted $1 million bond
J.W. Edwards Dye Jr. appeared before a Cleveland Municipal Court judge Tuesday after a shooting at a Sonic Drive-In on April 17, 2026.
Dye was granted a $1 million bond. He faces four counts of aggravated assault, one count of discharging a firearm within city limits, and one count of carrying a concealed weapon, according to Chief Dudley Tribble.
As of Tuesday, Dye remains in custody at the Bolivar County Regional Correctional Facility. His next court appearance has not been scheduled.
