Severe thunderstorms with damaging winds, large hail possible Saturday

Severe thunderstorms are forecast to develop Saturday, primarily during the afternoon and evening hours, according to weather authorities.

The storms could produce damaging wind gusts and large hail, the National Weather Service said. Tornadoes cannot be ruled out as part of the potential severe weather.
