Severe storms possible late Friday along and northwest of Natchez Trace

Strong to severe storms are possible late Friday, primarily along and northwest of the Natchez Trace, according to weather officials.

The main threats include damaging wind gusts and hail that could reach half-dollar size, the National Weather Service said.
