Severe storms possible in Jackson area Tuesday and Wednesday
Severe storms are possible in the Jackson, Mississippi, area Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Storms are expected to develop late Tuesday evening into the night, with damaging wind gusts and hail up to quarter size as the main hazards, the agency said.
Similarly, storms on Wednesday afternoon into the night could bring damaging winds and hail ranging from quarter to golf ball size. A tornado cannot be ruled out, NWS officials added.
Residents are advised to stay alert and monitor weather updates as conditions may change.
