Severe storms expected across the area tonight with damaging winds, large hail

Severe thunderstorms are forecast to move into the area late tonight and continue through early tomorrow morning, according to the National Weather Service.

The storms could produce damaging winds, large hail measuring between a quarter and a golf ball in size, and tornadoes. A strong tornado cannot be ruled out, especially within areas highlighted in the ‘Enhanced’ risk outlook.
