Record high temperatures hit Greenwood and Vicksburg on March 10

Greenwood and Vicksburg each recorded record high temperatures on March 10, according to weather reports.

Greenwood reached 84°F, breaking the previous record of 83°F set in 1990, the National Weather Service said.

Vicksburg also hit 84°F, tying its previous record of 84°F set in 2009.

The warm weather marked notable temperature records for both locations on the date.
