Percy Quin State Park boat ramp reopens after flooding cleanup

The boat ramp at Percy Quin State Park in McComb, Mississippi, reopened on Jan. 22, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.

The ramp was closed on Jan. 13 due to flooding that caused aquatic vegetation to accumulate around the area, making it inaccessible to boaters and anglers. MDWFP staff have spent the past week removing invasive aquatic plants to restore access.
