Mississippi urges outdoor enthusiasts to verify and auto-renew hunting and fishing licenses

Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks officials are advising outdoor enthusiasts to ensure their hunting and fishing licenses are current before heading out.

Officials also recommend signing up for auto-renewal to make license renewal more convenient in the future. The department provides a link for residents to purchase or set up auto-renewal for their licenses: https://www.mdwfp.com/news/how-auto-renew-your-license.

Checking license validity and enrolling in auto-renewal can help prevent interruptions during hunting or fishing trips, officials said. Residents are encouraged to visit the department’s website for more information.
