Mississippi offers three public shooting facilities for spring enthusiasts

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks is encouraging residents to enjoy the spring weather by visiting one of its three public shooting facilities. The sites offer options for pistols, rifles, shotguns, and archery.

The McIvor Shooting Facility is located in Sardis, the McHenry Shooting Facility is in Perkinston, and the Turcotte Shooting Facility is in Canton. All locations provide opportunities for outdoor shooting and archery practice, according to the department.
