Mississippi Fishery Biologists Release Seasonal Fishing Forecasts

Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks biologists review fall sampling data each spring to develop fishing forecasts for different regions of the state, the agency said.

The forecasts are designed to help anglers plan their trips by providing information on the expected conditions for species such as crappie, bass, catfish, and bream. These insights are based on recent sampling efforts conducted during the fall.
