Mississippi Delta Community College Students Turn Equipment Issue Into Learning Opportunity

Students in Mississippi Delta Community College’s HVAC program recently gained practical experience by troubleshooting a medical laboratory equipment issue. The problem arose in the college’s Medical Laboratory Technology lab and was treated as a real-world service call.

Students asked questions, evaluated the equipment, and worked alongside faculty to determine the best course of action. The exercise provided hands-on learning and problem-solving skills that students can apply in future careers, according to college officials.
