Mississippi Delta Community College Students and Faculty Celebrate at State Laboratory Conference

Students and faculty from Mississippi Delta Community College attended the ASCLS-MS/LSCLS Bi-State Meeting in Biloxi, Mississippi, according to college officials.

Medical Laboratory Technology students participated in the Student Bowl competition, showcasing their skills. Faculty members Dr. Janet Cooper and Ms. Andrea Richardson received Omicron Sigma awards for their service, the college said.

Dr. Cooper also marked 20 years of dedication to the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science Mississippi chapter. Both she and Dr. Patricia Kelly shared their expertise during presentations at the event, officials added.
