Mississippi Delta Community College Provides Aid to Itta Bena After Ice Storm

Mississippi Delta Community College stepped up to assist residents of Itta Bena after an ice storm caused power outages, water shortages, and food scarcity, according to a college statement.

Members of the college’s administration, staff, and students distributed hot meals, water, and support during the crisis, the college said. The effort was made possible through donations from the MDCC Foundation, the college’s Board of Trustees, and staff contributions.
