Mississippi Delta Community College Dental Hygiene Team Supports Autism Awareness Event

Mississippi Delta Community College’s dental hygiene program took part in the Greenwood-Leflore Autism Spectrum Society’s Autism Awareness Event on Saturday.

The team joined the Autism Awareness Walk and set up an oral hygiene booth to engage with families. They shared dental care tips and distributed toothbrushes, floss, and toothpaste.

College officials said the event aimed to promote healthy smiles while supporting a community cause. They thanked everyone who visited the booth and helped make the event meaningful.
