Mississippi deer season ends Saturday for most hunters

Deer season ends Saturday for most of Mississippi, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks. Hunters are encouraged to enjoy the final day of the 2025-2026 season.

The Southeast Management Unit will stay open until Feb. 15, allowing for additional hunting opportunities. Hunters planning one last outing should review bag limits and season dates before heading into the field, officials said.
