Mayor Errick D. Simmons Reappoints Dr. Oliver Johnson to Greenville School Board

GREENVILLE, Miss. — March 23, 2026 — Mayor Errick D. Simmons announced the Greenville City Council’s reappointment of Dr. Oliver Johnson to the Greenville Public School District Board of Trustees.

The decision came after the School Board Ad Hoc Advisory Committee submitted a report reflecting a majority vote in favor of Johnson’s reappointment. The city council voted to accept the report and confirm Johnson’s position on the board.
