Gunfire at Mississippi trail ride leaves two injured, investigation ongoing

Authorities responded to reports of gunfire Saturday evening at a trail ride hosted at Muddy River Delta Farm on Dubbs Road in Dundee, Mississippi.

At approximately 6:09 p.m., the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office received multiple 911 calls about shots fired at the event. Deputies and first responders arrived to find two individuals with apparent gunshot wounds.

The victims were treated on scene by Pafford and transported via Wings by Pafford AirOne to hospitals for further care, according to the sheriff’s office. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
