Greenville Street crews repair Main Street and Reed Road

The City of Greenville, Mississippi, continued its efforts to upgrade local infrastructure with a focus on street repairs. On Friday, crews from the city’s Street Department worked at the intersection of Main Street and Reed Road.

According to Mayor Errick D. Simmons, the repairs aim to make travel safer and smoother for residents and visitors. The city launched its “Fix The Streets Friday” initiative to address aging roads and enhance overall infrastructure.

Mayor Simmons praised the department’s team for their hard work. “Thank you to our hardworking team for continuing to put in the work to improve our city—one street at a time,” he said. The city shared photos of the ongoing repairs on social media, highlighting their commitment to progress.
