Greenville Police to Hold ‘Sea of Blue’ Memorial Ride
The Greenville Police Department is inviting residents to participate in a ‘Sea of Blue’ Memorial Ride to honor the lives and sacrifices of Investigator Myiesha Stewart and Officer Trey Lewis. The event is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, starting at 7 p.m. at the Washington County Convention Center.
Organizers encourage community members, including families, businesses, churches, and organizations, to line the route, wave flags, and turn on blue lights to show support. The procession will begin at the convention center, travel north on Raceway Road, west on Highway 82, north on Main Street, and conclude at the levee front.
Police officials emphasize that the event is a chance for the community to honor the fallen officers, support their families, and remember their legacies. The department urges residents to share information about the ride and help create a ‘Sea of Blue’ along Greenville’s streets.
Two officers. Two legacies. One community standing together.
