Greenville opens applications for 2026-2027 Mayor’s Youth Council

The City of Greenville is accepting applications for the 2026–2027 Mayor’s Youth Council, according to city officials.

The program provides young residents the chance to get involved in local government, engage with city leaders, and participate in community service projects. Participants will develop skills in leadership, teamwork, public speaking, and problem-solving, while exploring issues affecting Greenville.

Students can apply by scanning a QR code or visiting the city’s website at https://greenvillems.org/youth-counsel/. The deadline to submit applications is Sept. 11, 2026, officials said.

The Mayor’s Youth Council aims to empower youth to voice their opinions, build community connections, and grow as future leaders, officials added.
