Greenville Mid Delta Airport unveils renovated hangars to boost regional growth
The Greenville Mid Delta Airport has completed renovations on its hangars, transforming an aging facility into a modern asset aimed at attracting aviation, aerospace, and logistics industries, according to city officials.
Mayor Errick D. Simmons said the upgrades position Greenville to draw site selectors and investors, demonstrating the city’s readiness for growth and future opportunities. The project was supported by airport leadership, city council members, and regional partners, including Hooker Engineering and the South Delta Planning and Development District.
“We are proud to show that Greenville is prepared for investment and progress,” Simmons said. “This upgrade is a step toward strengthening our economic base.”
