Greenville Mayor urges residents to vote early in November election

Greenville Mayor Errick D. Simmons is urging eligible residents to vote in the upcoming general election on Nov. 3, 2026. He emphasized the importance of participation in democracy and encouraged voters to make their voices heard.

Absentee voting has already begun. Voters can cast their absentee ballots in person at the local Circuit Clerk’s Office, in accordance with Mississippi’s absentee voting laws, according to the mayor.

“Your vote is your voice, your power, and your opportunity to help shape the future of your community, state, and nation,” Simmons said. “Don’t sit on the sidelines of democracy. Get informed, get involved, and make your voice heard.”

The mayor emphasized the importance of early voting if eligible, urging residents to vote on Nov. 3 or sooner. He concluded by encouraging everyone to participate in the electoral process.
