Greenville begins construction on Delta Blues Advanced Power Station

Greenville, Mississippi — Crews in Greenville are working on the Delta Blues Advanced Power Station, a new combined-cycle power plant. The project is part of TIC — The Industrial Company’s — work for Entergy Mississippi.

Mayor Errick D. Simmons expressed enthusiasm for the project, calling it “more than a power station — this is power for progress.” In a statement, he noted the significance of the project in continuing the region’s legacy of resilience and innovation.

Simmons added, “The Delta Blues Advanced Power Station represents transformative energy, economic opportunity, and a future fueled by innovation.” The city aims for the project to create jobs and foster economic development in the Mississippi Delta region.
