Deputy Samuel Marshall named Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office Employee of the Month

COAHOMA COUNTY, Miss. — Deputy Samuel Marshall has been named Employee of the Month for August by the Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office.

Marshall has been with the agency for more than a year, starting as a detention officer before transferring to the Patrol Division. He attended the Law Enforcement Academy and has since been recognized for his work as a deputy.

During August, Marshall responded to 243 calls for service, including 198 self-initiated calls. He made nine arrests, including two felonies and four narcotics-related arrests. He also conducted 86 traffic stops, issued nine citations, and completed 43 extra patrols and business checks.

Sheriff’s Office officials praised Marshall for his initiative, professionalism, and dedication to duty. His efforts exemplify his commitment to serving the community and maintaining a high standard of law enforcement.

His performance and dedication make him a valuable member of the Patrol Division and a deserving recipient of the monthly honor.
