Denver Air resumes flights at Greenville Mid-Delta Airport after winter closure
Mayor Errick D. Simmons announced that Denver Air has resumed flight service at Greenville Mid-Delta Airport. The airline’s operations were temporarily halted due to recent winter weather conditions.
He credited city teams, including Airport Director Levell Hawkins and Public Works Director Ronnie Washington, for their quick response in clearing the runway and airfield. Their efforts allowed flights to safely resume.
“This is another example of our city team working together to keep Greenville connected, accessible, and moving forward,” Simmons said. “I am grateful for their commitment and rapid response to ensure our airport remains operational for residents, businesses, and travelers.”
