Dense fog possible along Highway 84 corridor in Mississippi and Louisiana

Areas of dense fog with visibility less than a quarter mile are possible along the Highway 84 corridor in southwest Mississippi into northeast Louisiana, according to weather authorities.

The National Weather Service issued a fog advisory, which is in effect until 9 a.m. Drivers are urged to slow down and use low beam headlights in areas with dense fog to improve safety.

Officials recommend exercising extra caution and maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles as visibility remains limited in affected areas.
