Dense fog in South Mississippi to lift later today, dry, warm weather forecasted

Areas of dense fog are ongoing across parts of South Mississippi this morning, according to the National Weather Service in Jackson.

The fog is expected to dissipate within the next few hours, the agency added.

Beyond that, residents can expect seasonably warm temperatures and dry weather through the first half of next week, forecasters said.
