Delta Bourbon Club hosts fundraiser at Nelson Street

The Delta Bourbon Club is hosting a bourbon tasting event on Thursday, March 5, at Shogun House, located at 410 Nelson Street. The event runs from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and features a curated bourbon pour along with light appetizers, according to organizers.

Attendees are encouraged to continue the evening with dinner at Doe’s Eat Place, which is Dutch treat. Tickets are priced at $30 each or $100 for an annual membership. The event has a dress code of sports coat, and participants must be men aged 21 or older, organizers said.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Old 1 Firehouse Museum. Organizers emphasized that the event offers a chance to enjoy good bourbon, meet new people, and support a local historical site.

Reservations can be made through a link provided by the chamber of commerce. The event aims to highlight Delta history while supporting community efforts, organizers noted.
