Community Coffee Event with Local Officers Set for October 7

Law enforcement officers and community members are invited to a casual gathering on Wednesday, October 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the McDonald’s located at Goodman Road and Highway 51.

The event is an informal opportunity for residents to enjoy coffee and conversation with officers who serve the community. There is no agenda or formal meeting, just a chance to connect outside of emergency calls or traffic stops, according to organizers.

Community members are encouraged to stop by, have a cup of coffee, and get to know the officers in a relaxed setting, officials said.
