Cold Weather Continues in Jackson as Temperatures Drop Into the 20s

Jackson, Miss. — The National Weather Service in Jackson announced that cold temperatures will persist overnight, with most areas experiencing lows in the 20s and frost likely.

Monday will start off cold but will gradually warm into the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to rise from the 20s in the morning to highs in the mid 40s in the north and low to mid 50s in the south, under mostly clear skies.

Forecasters advise residents to prepare for the cold overnight conditions and to expect a slow warming trend throughout the day.
