Cold Front Brings Scattered Showers and Cooler Temperatures to Mississippi and Arkansas
A cold front is bringing scattered showers and a few thunderstorms to parts of Mississippi and Arkansas tonight, according to the National Weather Service in Jackson, Mississippi.
Most areas will see light rainfall, but some parts of South Mississippi could receive up to half an inch of rain, the agency said.
Much cooler air is moving in behind the front. Temperatures have already fallen into the 50s across Arkansas and North Mississippi. Lows are expected to range from the upper 40s to around 50 degrees by Monday morning.
