Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office Celebrates Women in Law Enforcement Early

The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office is celebrating its female law enforcement officers a day early, as offices will be closed on September 12 for National Police Women’s Day.

The department recognized Chief Jones, Lt. Moore, Lt. Griffin, and Sgt. James for their dedication, professionalism, and leadership in serving the community, according to a news release.

Officials expressed gratitude for the strength, compassion, and commitment these women bring to their roles. They were thanked for their daily service and commitment to public safety. National Police Women’s Day is observed annually on September 12.
