Clarksdale Deputy Named 2025 Deputy of the Year
The Exchange Club of Clarksdale has named Deputy Brown of the Clarksdale Police Department as the 2025 Deputy of the Year, citing his dedication and integrity.
According to the department, Deputy Brown responded to 4,313 calls for service in 2025, including self-initiated activity. He made 108 arrests, among them 15 felonies, 28 narcotics-related charges, and eight for illegal firearm possession. He also served 22 arrest warrants.
Deputy Brown conducted 899 traffic stops, issued 198 citations, and completed 1,442 extra patrols and business checks to enhance community safety. His efforts have earned praise from citizens, who frequently commend his professionalism and willingness to assist.
He has also been recognized internally, earning Employee of the Month honors in April and July. The department congratulated him on the award and thanked him for his service and commitment to law enforcement.
