Batesville Police Department welcomes new recruit Caleb Lantern

The Batesville Police Department has announced the addition of Caleb Lantern as its newest recruit.

Lantern comes from a family with a long history of service in law enforcement, according to a department post.

The department said Lantern is set to attend the Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Academy in May and expressed confidence in his future contributions.
