The message claimed to be from the “Civil Enforcement Department of the Mississippi Court” and referenced the “Mississippi District Court Jurisdiction,” but authorities confirm no such department exists.

The message did not specify a fine amount and included a suspicious web address, ms.govolql.autos/dmv, which authorities warn is a scam. They advise recipients not to click on the link and to delete the message immediately.
