Yazoo County women visit jail with care packages, authorities say

Two women visited the Yazoo County Regional Correctional Facility with care packages for detainees, according to the Yazoo County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said the women, identified as Brittany Diew and Daunna Rogers, showed bravery and determination by making the visit in broad daylight.

In response, the sheriff’s office announced that the women would be held at the facility for the weekend as a result of their actions.
