Tunica County Sheriff’s Office Speaks to Students About Safety at Tunica Academy

The Tunica County Sheriff’s Office participated in Tunica Academy’s weekly chapel program Monday, engaging students in grades 7 through 12 about real-life safety issues.

Deputies discussed topics including distracted driving, the dangers of drinking and driving, social media awareness, and handling online harassment, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

The goal was to foster honest conversations and remind students that their choices impact their safety and future, officials said. The sheriff’s office expressed appreciation for the opportunity to connect with students and reinforce the importance of responsible decisions.
