Tunica County Sheriff’s Office Celebrates National Pet Day with K9 Deputies

The Tunica County Sheriff’s Office celebrated National Pet Day by highlighting two of its K9 deputies, Ramon and Nino. The agency described the dogs as more than just members of the patrol division, calling them loyal partners and protectors.

Officials said the dogs use their training and instincts daily to help keep the community safe. The department also expressed gratitude to their handlers, Lt. Hoskins and Deputy Canizaro, for their dedication and teamwork.

“These dogs are essential members of our team,” the sheriff’s office said in a post. “We appreciate their service and the bond they share with their handlers.”
