Tunica County authorities seek owner for found pit bull

Authorities in Tunica County are asking for the public’s help in locating the owner of a dog found earlier this week.

The dog, a five- or six-year-old pit bull, was discovered on the 1300 block of Clayton Road on March 30 around noon, according to the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office.

The dog is described as friendly and non-aggressive. Authorities are requesting anyone with information to come forward to assist in reuniting the dog with its owner.
